CITY SLICKERS

 How cute are these charms? They were all given to me by both my aunty and my brother. The palm tree & sun glasses are actually off my marc Jacobs necklace and the Wedge shoe is from my Bro after his Euro trip. haha I remember him ringing my sister and I up when he was at singapore airport being like: "Do you know who thomas Sabo is...?" "Do you like charms?" etc.. so he got us both thomas sabo shoe charms :) They are so cute!

We we're actually trying to take a sneaky stalker photo of the goodlooking boys behind us. But damn one of their gf's kept on looking our way --- awkward!

We had a bit of a lie down in the sun while we waited for our mum & cousin to finish exploring old government house. After this we finally got to eat... hence why there is no photos of the food coz we were sooooo hungry! And now I'm off to eat some dinner. Ciao!

Angelica was a bit too excited to be at the Opera house again... we love the sports setting on Kat's Canon E somthing camera (i forgot what model it was..)

Clouds of eternity

With the arrival of our cousin from the Philippines who is living with us for the next 2 years, we took him around to see the icons of Sydney - just like we did only 2 weeks ago with our Americano Familia who came to visit. haha this time we came prepared with our friend Kat's Canon camera. It was fun to go around circular quay again and take shots of everything and anything... after much indecision I decided to post these photos.... and the photos in the posts above ^^^^^^ Grace wasn't to keen on getting in any photos but once again her maxi looked amazing so I took some quick pics. Check it out...

btw: grace and I tried to re-create a similar "hair flicking" shot as seen by Stylish Wanderer here and Jesslovesfred here. haha It was absolutely hilarious to take these photos on the Opera House Steps with a million pair of eyes starring in our direction.. we/grace looked like a crazy person... hence why we only did it once and this was the shot we got. enjoy!

This is actually an outfit I wore to work a few weeks ago but wasn't able to post, so when I stumbled across it when I was browsing through my pix I thought I might as well post it. I was really feeling the layers that day and although I don't usually wear dark/earthy colours, that day I did and I actually really enjoyed wear it .

ZARA-licious

Many of us Australians who have traveled to various countries would know that we are missing out on some great retailers such as H&M and ZARA... however the wait is almost over as the amazing fashion retailer ZARA is set to land in Australia in 2011. After much speculation and not knowing for sure if Zara was actually coming to Sydney, my face completely lit up when my sister emailed me this article. Just smiles all around woohoo for ZARA, save your money kids! and Check it out for yourselves as "Zara [is set] to 'murder' Australian fashion brands next year" - The Australian.

MAURIE AND EVE 2010

As you probably don't know, I am a huge fan of the Australian label Maurie and Eve. I fell in love with their sequined pattered dresses and skirts, their ultra cool grey suede wedges and their rich gold and black colour palette. This up coming season Maurie and Eve have opted for no sequins, no gold and black colour palette BUT they still manage to have me hooked! Im completely inlove with their patterned pants and button up t-shirts, their pastle colours and leather pants have got me high** ahhhh I really think that ever piece has been well designed and Maurie and Eve are moving forward... and I love it! Here is just a little taste of What Maurie and Eve have done this season....

This post would NOT be complete without some pictures of their AMUZZ shoes this season... the ankle cut cowbow boot, the harness and the patterened wedges oh I think I just died and went to shoe heaven. Thankyou Maurie and Eve for your genius.

Day 2: circular quay

Angelica wears: F21 gladiator sandals, vintage maxi dress, mums scarf, Sportsgirl blazer, & Zara Bag.

The first picture is of her standing on the Opera house stairs, the second is walking across the harbour bridge & the third is at ciruclar quay.

Today we visited sydney's landmarks - the harbour bridge and the opera house at circular quay arriving by ferry which was nice, we ate at Pancakes on the rocks (sooo yummm) and afterwards went on a little adventure to Pitt St Mall a few days early for Ed Westwicks meet and greet :( however on a brighter note we did spot a Maserati today and guess who was in it? TIMMY CAHILL.. although not on the same wow factor as the amazing Ed Westwick, during this time of the World Cup seeing Tim Cahill off the field was pretty exciting especially for my soccer crazed brothers. Anyways while exploring Pitt St Mall I found the most amazing store - 'The Corner Shop' They stock Alexander Wang, Vivienne Westwood, Josh Goot, Karla Spectic and many more amazing designers... also the design of the store is like a fantasy land.. it is any fashionista's dream world... ahhhh a girl can dream!

I wear: Glassons hat, blackmilk leggings, Zara Boots, Gino Ferrario Bag, Zara t-shirt, striped blazer from ...idk? and my mothers scarf.

 

Between the stores in the Strand at Pitt St stood these amazing displays of young designers from TAFE NSW, they're work is incredible! If you get a chance you really should check it out.. but in the mean time have a peak below...

HAPPY 4th of July

As I bid farewell to my american familia a few days ago, it is on their 4th of July that I write this post in dedication to them! Although only meeting them 4 years ago through my dad & their dads I feel like they have become my actual family. So when they stayed with us for one short week down under we savoured every moment and took them to every tourist destination imagininable - the hunter valley, newcastle, taronga zoo, blue mountains and the iconic bondi. At every destination the photo opportunities went unmissed so here is a little taste of our outfits on the Sydney-one-week-grand-tour...

Grace really didn't want to be photographed especially for the blog but I really liked what she was wearing it was just really pretty with all the sun and beautiful flowers around her that I couldn't resist...i hope she forgives me for posting these...

and here's a special guest appearance by our papa.. he really put a good outfit together so i decided he can be featured on our blog.. haha it was so funny getting him to pose for the camera.. hes like 'what is this ...blog?' 'where are you putting this?' etc etc... he looked really nice though!

He wears: Wilsons leather M.Julian leather jacket, camel Polo Ralph Lauren sweater, Bally shoes and the pants, sunglasses & watch I'm not too sure but I think he looks neat!
